Register for CEED Nature Adventure Summer Camp

Register for Spring Camp – April 22-26

Thank you for a year of children outdoors.

We added a very popular Spring Farm & Nature Experience for kids and a successful five weeks of Summer Nature Experience and Summer Farm & Nature Experience for over 100 kids.  Both programs included collaboration with next-door neighbor Mama Farm!

Thank you for a year of steady progress on the Washington Lodge.

This included exterior painting projects, recoating the roof, repairing soffits, fixing a hole in the floor, adding a tile fireplace hearth in the Great Hall West, and beginning work to install a complete fire safety alarm system!

Thank you for a year of conservation and stewardship.

We had a release of bobwhite quail, identification and protection of a precious box turtle nest, removal of invasive plants, and ongoing cleanup of 60+ acres of Brookhaven and Suffolk County open space and preserve land.

Thank you for a year of growth and development.

We adopted four anchors that hold to our mission:
ClimateSustainabilityBiodiversity, and Water. This will be an important focus in 2022 for our education programs and public programs for all ages.

Thank you for a year of programs and outreach.

We had Talks with Scientists on sea turtles and whales. Public nature programs like owl walks, wilderness survival, and sky gazing. And gatherings like our Summer Solstice Nature Festival, Fall Equinox Festival, and Blue Water Vagabond Surf Festival!
