CEED and Science Education

At CEED, we understand the challenges of meeting educational standards and finding funding for science enrichment. Our school programs achieve goals for students, teachers, and school systems. And we can offer ideas for funding for CEED in-school programs and field trips. 

Eric Powers, affectionately known all over Long Island as “Ranger Eric,” has been opening the eyes of students to the wonders of nature and the power of science for more than 30 years. This year, Ranger Eric officially became CEED’s “employee #1” in May. Bringing Eric’s “Your Connection to Nature” programs to CEED has allowed us to reach out to schools and show them how we can help. We’re so proud to have Eric as a co-founder and Program Director!
