Where? Nature of Science is almost entirely outdoors, and will follow New York State and local board of health COVID-19 protocols. Sometimes we’ll be in a field, or in a forest, or at a stream, or at the Great South Bay. Indoor sessions will be at the Post Morrow Foundation’s Annex, 16 Bay Road, Brookhaven Hamlet off Beaver Dam Road.
By Whom? CEED’s mission is to inspire connection to the joys of nature through education and experience. Our Nature of Science series will be taught by two experienced teachers who are passionate about outdoor education, science, and biology.
How Much? Nature of Science is $250 per child per five-week sessions. There is a family discount for each additional child enrolled in the same session.
We operate on a tight budget, and without amazing, dedicated volunteers there’s no way CEED could continue to grow.
CEED’s Session Two of Nature of Science will be exploring how we make food and our clothing from plants and animals.
CEED is offering a full line-up of in-person, outdoor, and online nature programs to keep nature and science connections alive.
