An Open House with Baby Quail
We are shamelessly using this photo of a tiny baby quail to catch your attention so you’ll know we’re holding an Open House of the Center for Environmental Education and Discovery at the Washington Lodge, on Sunday, May 15, from 6:00-8:00. Come and see what we’re doing and also see adorable baby quail!
This is the first time we’ve ever been able to welcome the public into the Washington Lodge and the newly renovated Woodlands Hall. And if you want to hang around after for a bit, we’re also having a very cool community viewing of the Lunar Eclipse, led by Vanderbilt Planetarium astronomer Dave Bush. Registration is required.
Thanks to a generous donation, our innovative Wave Makers program is now open to all children age 10-16, without cost. We invite your child to join us and experience adventure and the thrill of learning how to change the world.
I arranged for there to be a Lunar Eclipse above the Center and the Washington Lodge beginning at 9:30 p.m. this Sunday night, May 15.
We had a successful Spring Farm & Nature Experience. Sign up your children for our Summer Nature Experience program!
