Share Your Signs of Spring with CEED …

Events, Nature Center

Spring is just around the corner on Long Island. In sunny spots, crocuses and daffodils are already coming up. Look closely at the ends of many tree branches and you’ll see flower or leaf buds.  We’re seeing birds we didn’t see a few weeks ago, and hearing the first mating songs.

What signs of spring have you seen: birds, plants, other animals?

Don’t forget that on Saturday, March 19, we’re going to hold our Virtual Vernal Equinox Festival.  Join us on Instagram Live for a celebration of spring with five-minute spots from different locations around Long Island.  We’ll begin at Montauk State Park at 7:00 a.m., and end at CEED at 7:00 p.m.  See how many locations you can guess!
