Join Ranger Eric on an exploratory walk every month. This month, we’ll think about animals and Long Island winters.
We have a wonderful diversity of wildlife that live on Long Island, but what do they do about winter? Do all birds migrate? Do all mammals hibernate? And do any animals migrate to Long Island for winter? We will start with a fun game inside about animals in winter before heading out for a hike in search of wildlife at CEED. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
