Self Discovery: This Is Me

INSPIRED presents This is Me, a FREE event celebrating self-discovery through the Arts at CEED. Join Jo-Ann Wilson and accomplished musicians along with new artists, poets, and dancers. It’s free, and no registration is required.

This is Me is an original production celebrating authenticity and self-love. This dancers, and inspirational speakers with combined careers spanning 50 years. Performers include accomplished musicians —some who have worked with Bob Marley, Susan Tedeschi, Wyclef Jean, and others — and up-and-coming artists and students. Food will be provided by Island Empanada.

The event is hosted by CEED and presented by INSPIRED, an organization dedicated to helping children and young adults — especially those from underserved communities — achieve success through the arts. According to its founder, Jo-Ann Wilson, LMSW, the purpose of the show is to encourage confidence and challenge negative self-talk. “We are not the sum of our past mistakes or the balance in our bank accounts,” she said. “This is Me is an invitation for self-exploration, self-celebration, and making connections.”

In case of rain, the concert will be held indoors at the Washington Lodge.
