Go Beyond Basic Birding – Beaches

Join us to explore winter birds in a Barrier Beach habitat.
This three-hour workshop will advance our ability to find and identify birds. This is the first of a series of three and will take place at local Smiths Point Barrier Beach. Bring your binoculars or borrow a pair of ours to take a look at the local waterfowl here for the winter months.
Each workshop will begin indoors with a short classroom session. Then we head outdoors to explore a local Long Island ecosystem.
