Go Beyond Basic Birding – Freshwater Habitat
Saturday, January 20, 2024 · 9am – 12pm EST
Join us to explore winter birds in freshwater habitats.
This 3-hour workshop will advance our ability to find and identify birds. This is the first of a series of three and will take place at local Patchogue freshwater lakes. Bring your binoculars or borrow a pair of ours to take a look at the local waterfowl here for the winter months.
Each workshop will begin indoors with a short classroom session. Then we head outdoors to explore a local Long Island ecosystem.
Series:
- January 6th Beyond Basic Birding in a Freshwater Habitat
- February 10th Beyond Basic Birding in a Barrier Beach Habitat
- March 9th Beyond Basic Birding in a Field Habitat
Purchase all 3 at a discounted price. It is a great gift for the holidays!
