Namaste and Welcome to Our Yoga Instructors!

The Center for Environmental Education & Discovery (CEED) is pleased to offer outdoor Yoga! Stay safe while connecting to nature, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the soundscapes while practicing Vinyasa yoga with our great instructors.

Lauren Adamkiewicz leads Nurturing in Nature Yoga on Saturdays, 9:30 – 10:30am. Founder of Salt of the Earth Yoga, Lauren has adapted the yoga practice to anyone and everyone of all ages, lifestyles, work life or home life.
She has brought yoga to rehabilitation and recovery facilities, sports teams, athletic programs, libraries, schools, office buildings, community centers and senior programs, physical therapy offices and CrossFit gyms across Long Island. She now brings her experience and energy to our Center in Brookhaven.
As Yoga instructor for Nature Flow Yoga on Saturdays, 5-6pm, Donavin Brewer aspires to inspire and motivate others to cope with anxiety and find peace. He has traveled as a teacher across Long Island before opening Evolution Yoga in Calverton. With ten years of experience, Donavin has led wellness retreats and workshops to increase awareness and knowledge of yoga.
He brings knowledge of chakras, essential oils, crystals and herbal healing, sharing his wisdom with every class to offer a full experience. He is committed to helping his students grow within their practice and to create peace within.

Nancy Anderson joins us for Gentle Flow Yoga on Sundays, 10-11am. She has been a yogi for many years after first practicing yoga through a local adult education program. She has built her teaching experience through her love for yoga and her desire to share it with others, earning a 200 hour registered yoga teaching certificate from the Always-at-Aum Yoga School. Nancy also holds certification in Yin, Hot, Chair and SUP classes, and to give Reiki treatments. Yoga has been a constant in her life, a place she can go to be with herself and develop a flexibility of body that shifts into a flexibility of mind.
Please join us for one of these focused and relaxing outdoor classes. Feel free to come early or stay after and extend your time with a self-guided stroll through the trails.
Please bring: yoga mat or beach towel, water, insect spray and sunscreen. The bathroom will be open for each class. And in the event of inclement weather, the class will be rescheduled for another date. These classes are for adults age 18 years or older only, please.
$20 per person/per class
