Say “Hello” To Spring!

Say ‘goodbye’ to winter and ‘hello’ to spring at the Center for Environmental Education and Discovery’s Spring Equinox Nature Festival, Saturday March 23, 2019 from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

The free, outdoor festival takes place at 287 South Country Road in Brookhaven Hamlet and is a pet-friendly, rain or shine event. We will feature a Green Home & Garden Expo that includes vendor demonstrations and organic compost and wild birdseed sales, the CEED Spring Equinox Nature Festival will have nature crafts for kids, live animals with Ranger Eric Powers and live music by singer/songwriter/guitarist Delaney Hafener.

Plus, there will be opportunities to learn the science behind nature’s transformation from winter to spring, known as the vernal equinox.
