Rescheduled Blue Water Vagabond Festival!

After a fabulous Saturday evening pre-festival party, high winds on Sunday, Sept. 12 required the rescheduling of the Blue Water Vagabond Festival to Sunday, Sept. 19.  This gives everyone another chance to register and join us for a good time to benefit CEED.  The early forecast for the 19th is sunny and 80 degrees, so register here!

Blue Water Vagabond Surf Festival
Rescheduled to Sunday, September 19, 8:30 a.m.  Meet at Bellport Marina for ferry at 7:30 a.m.

Blue Water Vagabond Surf Festival is a volunteer-based pageant celebrating our love for the sea and our devotion to its preservation.

Two years ago, we were grateful to be honored as one of the recipients of proceeds from the Blue Water Vagabond Surf Festival. Our mission of connecting with nature aligns well with the participants and organizers of this festival. The original “Blue Water Vagabond” Dennis Puleston spent his life connecting with nature. 

What better way to connect than catching a wave at this fun event celebrating the blue water that surrounds our Long Island home.

This year, CEED is honored to be chosen to host, and be the primary recipient of proceeds from this wonderful ocean party for all ages.

There are surfing events for kids to seniors, and even if you’re not a surfer, it will be a wonderful way to spend a Sunday at the beach with events, raffles, and prizes, all in the company of ocean lovers. And you can watch the surfers express their joy riding the power of nature’s waves.

Join us for this unique beach party to support CEED. You’ll also get a surfer t-shirt that will be sure to be a favorite.
