Music, and Birds, and Food … Fall Festival Highlights!

Saturday, September 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Washington Lodge
Right on the heels of our groundbreaking Sculpture on the Trail event, we’re now preparing for our annual Fall Nature Festival when we celebrate all the marvels of migration on Long Island. Here are a few highlights:
- Music: Arrizza and his magical flamenco guitar music, Sicanni and his Peruvian pan flutes, and The South Country String Band
- Build a Community Nest – help gather the materials that environmental artist Tonito Valderrama will use to build a nest sculpture
- Birds of Prey! Live raptor display with expert educators!
- Activities for kids!
- Interesting exhibitors like Anthony Graziano Photography and Indigo Garden Arts
- Suffolk Libraries Empowering Discovery (SLED) Multimedia Bus
- Last chance to see our Sculpture on the Trail exhibit, with amazing nature art around every bend of CEED’s North Trail!
There will also be great food from the Lunchbox food truck. There’s no charge for the festival, so join us as we celebrate fall!
