North Hempstead Quail Release Video!
Ranger Eric Powers and our entire Bobwhite Quail Project team of classrooms, libraries, and individuals can take pride in the release of 150 juvenile quail at the Hempstead Harbor Trail in North Hempstead recently. The town made a wonderful video of the event, and released a Press Release as well. Click below. Thank you to all who took part in this effort to help rebuild native quail populations on Long Island.
