Join artist Jennifer Lucas for an afternoon of collecting, sketching, and adding color to seasonal finds. We will then make “teas” from some natural sources to color our creations.

This workshop is for adults ages 15 and over. All materials are included.

Natural Wonders Walk with Ranger Eric

Our apologies.  The nature walk with Ranger Eric for Saturday, Jan. 27 has been cancelled.  Please join us for the February walk to be announced soon.

 

Join Ranger Eric on an exploratory walk every month.  This month, we’ll think about animals and Long Island winters.

We have a wonderful diversity of wildlife that live on Long Island, but what do they do about winter? Do all birds migrate? Do all mammals hibernate? And do any animals migrate to Long Island for winter? We will start with a fun game inside about animals in winter before heading out for a hike in search of wildlife at CEED. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.

2024 Nature Adventure Camp Programs

Registration for CEED’s famous nature adventure camps is now open for 2024, with registration for Spring Camp and Summer Camp.

It is now possible to register for 1 or all 5 days for Spring Camp.  And we’re repeating our innovative Leadership and Conservation program for teens for summer.

Registration before Feb. 29 will be at last year’s prices.  Don’t wait!
