Saturday, Dec. 16 · 3 – 6 pm

Don’t miss our Winter Solstice event on Saturday, Dec. 16 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. as we gather to celebrate the light of friendship on the day with the shortest amount of sunlight. Enjoy cider, cocoa, s’mores, and cookies and you can even make your own burn bowl around a lovely bonfire.

Other highlights include music featuring Steven Finkelstein with his “Singing Earth Workshop.”

We can’t avoid winter, so let’s celebrate it!  Very soon, every day will be a little brighter.

Despite the cold, this is our coziest festival of the year.  The weather on Saturday December 17 is predicted to be sunny and mid-40s.  Perfect for an outdoor fire and hot cocoa. Once it gets dark, we may even see shooting stars from the Geminids Meteor Shower.

So join us at CEED from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for our Winter Solstice Festival with primitive crafts like wood bowl making, storytelling, hot cocoa and conversation. Dress warmly, as we’ll be outside regardless of the temperature!
