October Volunteer Day

Looking for some activity that will also be purposeful? Come volunteer with us on Saturday, October 3rd, for Volunteer Day! There is something for everyone. All you need to do is show up between 10 AM and2 PM, and we will get you rolling on an activity you choose. We also provide our hardworking volunteers with pizza.

This month, some opportunities include:

  • Organizing the children’s area for Open Hours
  • Data entry in the office
  • Cleaning out the hallway
  • Sanding and sealing tipi poles
  • Clearing and removing invasive plants from the trail
  • Winterizing the Quail Pen
  • Moving rocks
  • Weeding gardens
  • Taking care of our animals
  • Cleaning our aquarium tanks
  • and more!
